Data protection declaration (Version 1.4 / 18.05.2018)

The update of our data protection declaration adresses the new EU data protection basic regulation (DSGVO), which is to be applied from 25 May 2018.

Our basic orientation has not changed: We continue to see it as our obligation to collect and process as little personal data as possible from our customers.

1. Ludetis UG (haftungsbeschränkt) collects and uses personal data exclusively within the framework of the provisions of the „Bundesdatenschutzgesetz“ of the Federal Republic of Germany, which implements the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO).

In this document we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data. You can access our data protection declaration at any time on our website (www.ludetis.de). If you have further questions, please send us an e-mail to support@ludetis-games.de.

2. Your internet browser automatically transmits data to our servers for technical reasons. The same applies when using our online-capable apps (with your computer, tablet or smartphone). It is a matter of:

  • Date, time and time zone of the request
  • URL of the referring web page
  • Name of the requested file
  • the amount of data sent
  • browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Your IP address
  • Search term (if you access our website via a search engine)

These data is stored separately from other data that you enter in the context of the use of our offer. It is not possible for us to assign this data to a specific person. This data is evaluated internally for statistical purposes only if at all.

3. Further personal data is only collected and stored by us if you provide this information voluntarily, for example as part of an enquiry or registration.

  • If you use a web form offered by us and provide us with personal data therein or if you contact us by e-mail, we will collect, process and use your personal data solely for the purpose of processing your inquiry.
  • For some of our apps (e.g. Kick it out!) you can enter your email address if you wish. You can use it, for example, to have the server send a password to yourself. The email address is transmitted encrypted and stored in a database. You can delete the email address at any time. Ludetis may use this email address to inform you about new features or special offers in its own apps.
  • For some of our apps (e.g. Medicus, Kick it out!) location-based data (geo-coordinates/location data) is stored purely for a function in the game mechanics on our servers.
  • Due to VAT aspects, we also store the country in which a InApp purchases or other purchases (e.g. in our web shop) was made in a database.

4. If a contractual relationship between you and us is to be established, developed or changed, we collect and use personal data from you to the extent neccessary for these purposes and to enable or invoice the use of our services (usage data). This includes, in particular, features to identify you and, if applicable, information at the beginning and end as well as the scope of use of our range of services.

5. Your personal data will only be passed on or otherwise transmitted to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or for billing purposes or if you have given your prior consent. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

6. The stored personal data will be deleted in a timely manner,

  • if you send a written request via email to support@ludetis-games.de
  • if you revoke your consent to storage
  • if their knowledge is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which they were stored, or
  • if the storage is not permitted for legal reasons.

7. In order to extend the range of functions of our website and to make its use more convenient for you, we sometimes use so-called “cookies”. With the help of these “cookies”, data can be stored on your computer when you access our website. You have the option of preventing cookies from being saved on your computer by making the appropriate settings. However, this could limit the functional scope of our offer.

8. Web tracking procedures (range measurement), analysis programs and other techniques for evaluating your usage behavior are not used on our website and in our apps.

9. As a user of our services, you have the right to request information from us about the personal data stored about you. Upon your request, the information will be provided electronically.

10. We try to store your personal data by measures according to industry standards in such a way that they are not accessible to third parties. However, we cannot guarantee complete data security when communicating by e-mail.

11. By order of the competent authorities, we may provide information on inventory data in individual cases if this is necessary for the purposes of criminal prosecution, for the prevention of danger, for the fulfilment of the legal tasks of the constitutional protection authorities or the Military Counter-Intelligence Service or for the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
